Squirrels -- Gray or Fox, they all have
bushy tails
Squirrels come in two types -- fox or gray.
The gray has a salt-and-pepper fur, while the fox has reddish. Others
found in the southeast have a black face and grayish body, or black fur
with white underneath. They measure about 20 inches head to tail, with
some fox squirrels going about 28. Grays are smaller, weighing about one
pound, while the fox can go to three pounds. Bush tails are common among
all, as is living high in the trees and eating nuts -- especially acorns
and hickory -- high on the list. Although cute, don't pick one up, cause a
nasty bite could get you some unwanted shots at the doctor.
