Bighorn Sheep -- it's a Ram of a thing
Bighorn Sheep are found in remote areas
from British Columbia south to the Northern Rockies. The desert bighorn
lives in the southeast U.S. and northern Mexico. A big, muscular brute,
they have majestic curved horns and dark brown or buff hair. Standing 3
1/2 feet at the shoulder and weighing about 200 pounds, this ain't no
goat. Grass is the bighorn's primary food, but brush and berries also do
fine. If you chance meet one, give a wide berth, cause this one could give
you a nasty stomach ache.
